Freelance Graphic Designer
Services, Multiple Applications and Materials:

Professional
freelance graphic designer
services for brochures and materials make a big difference...
BROCHURE, LOGO, PRINT: "I'm very pleased with the
brochure, what you did with the images, and also
the writing and layout. Frankly, it exceeded my expectations. I've had a lot
of good comments about it. Thanks for your help."
- - Richard Duhame, President,
Surface-All, Inc. (logo)
Choose a professional
- solid reasons:
I am a professional graphic designer for print
communications and electronic representations, images and
layout and design. As a freelance and professional graphic designer, I
tell you that it will pay you handsomely to understand the difference
between a serious, professional, graphic designer and an amateur who
mostly masquerades as a graphic designer. If you may not know the
difference, the difference is huge, telling, and costly if you make the
mistake of going with an amateur. It goes way beyond any natural flair
for drawing or talent in one aspect of design or another, but it is the
professional training and education and development, that is one central
point of several. It is proficiency that is "real" proficiency in
software, far beyond an "acquaintance" with software. Some people think
that if you know software at some level that graphic designers use, that
makes you a graphic designer. Not so, no more than knowing how to take a
blood pressure reading makes you a doctor. Life experience, business
experience, and more add greatly to the value of a professional graphic
designer. Amateur or professional? Understand the difference. For
your sake. People come to me with simply awful stories of using people
who profess to be designers. See what clients from all walks of life
have to say about me as an experienced and professional freelance
graphic designer. See client
comments. More
on this subject appears on this website.

Return on investment:
Some of the very best things in life are not precisely measurable.
Graphic design is one of them, but the solid impact of well done graphic
design is indeed there. If you know anything of branding, then this
should be at least clear, if not directly provable in measured dollars
and sense. but it is there and you know that it is there. Compare a
sloppy brand or a haphazard and confused company or corporate identity,
a brand that is inconsistent and badly done, with one that is simply
stellar. A world of difference. Have confidence, in the absence of
direct dollars and cents measurement, that graphic design pays off,
whether for a large company or small.
Major business objective: A
basic business objective is to
create, establish, and then maintain a strong business identity.
Translate that as "brand" and how your business or organization or
products/services are viewed by the market. A strong brand and identity leads to increased
customer or prospect flow toward your business,
a second major objective, and relates directly to share
of market.
All of these relate to profit,
to position,
to increased
values,
to growth.
Identity and image are central to purpose, and to fulfilling the purpose
of the business. To ignore these elements of identity and image,
somewhat, to not invest in these, to treat them lightly or without
strict attention and management and care, is literally a grave and
costly business mistake. Your brand and identity and image directly contribute to
either making money or losing money - a loose, confused, conflicted
identity and image will do exactly that. Your business identity and your
business image are a reflection and projection of who you are (in a
business or management or, sometimes, personal sense) and what you stand
for. Prospects will get the message, whatever it is, pro or con. A
strong identity, brand, and image are the keys to turn to open the door
to business objectives. What delivers brand and identity? Your
materials. Use professional services for
design, redesign, or collaterals:
-
Design or redesign of printed
materials, as well as electronic images, by a graphic designer,
materials that represent your company or organization
-
Collaterals by a pro graphic
designer such as a logo, icons, brochures, newsletters, bulletins,
letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and many more. Much of this
also comes into play for a graphic designer to create and help to
implement branding, a corporate identity - these critical elements
of business - and make no mistake, they are central and critical to
the mission - are projected by what? Your printed and electronic
materials.
