Welcome! If your looking for an illustrator for you
project, whatever your needs, as a professional graphic designer and
illustrator, chances are I can help you (not medical illustrator
services nor cartoons, which are their own specialties). As a general
illustrator I can help you, from a product drawing to a book cover to a
service diagram or flow chart, most certainly.
If you should require a specific style, a style to
mimic a famous illustrator, for example, this can often
be accomplished. See the illustrator samples that appear below, as some of
these are styled. Illustrator styles like Lautrec, Maxfield Parrish, or any of the Wyeths are possible.
Flexible, I am often able to execute designs that
reflect the style of a famous illustrator to match the company's image of
quality, integrity, and distinction. Several illustrator examples are shown that are renderings in various
styles.
Located in Northern Ohio, I'm a member of NOIS, which
is the Northern Ohio Illustrator Society, and while it is indeed a quiet
group, it's pronounced as "noise." And while I'm located in Painesville Township
(Greater Cleveland area near Mentor and Concord Township, Ohio, Lake County) I
provide illustrator services nationally. Communicating by telephone,
email, fax, and email sending of documents make providing illustrator services of
a commercial artist easier than ever.

The Illustration: Sports Icon for the
SPORTS MEDICINE NEWS feature in the health magazine circulated in Lake County, Ohio, Best of Health, published and
distributed
by the Lake Hospital System's department for publications.
The Challenge: Create an icon that is sports oriented,
original or unique, that is immediately identifiable when combined with
the features' headline, SPORTS MEDICINE NEWS, and that communicates
visually
that a multitude of sports are included. As the publication
goes out during all seasons, colors chosen should not be colors that are identified in a reader's mind as being tied to a particular season,
e.g., blue/white, often associated with winter skiing.
Incorporating
ideas or images that suggest action, activity, movement, balance, should
be central to the entire image.
Age or gender identification should not
predominate or define the graphic to much of any degree, as all ages and
both sexes are to be included in subject content of the articles. An
icon that is distinctive and attention-grabbing is specifically called
for.
