Visitors: I've designed this
website for clients and prospective business clients, to serve their
needs for information and background on using a graphic designer or
illustrator. Many times people are uncomfortable with approaching a
designer - what does a graphic designer actually do, anyway? A
commercial artist? How do they do what they do? How can they help me?
How will they work with me, and what will they provide? It can seem
mysterious - the "creative process" - even intimidating, perhaps, asking
about something in a field where someone may have no experience.
Sometimes prospective clients hardly know what to ask, depending. They
ask: "How is a custom logo produced? How can I better communicate what I
provide for customers or prospects, and get this into a brochure? What are the
cost factors? Where do the images come from?" And so on.
I'm here to help. I explain the process and the steps, whatever
the project, whether it is creating a logo or a brochure or providing
all company materials, as a whole. I work directly with owners, usually
one-on-one, answer questions, explain what works and what is or isn't a good
idea for a particular application. Does this color clash with that one?
Is there a better paper that would enhance the work or project? I
advise, consult, suggest. And I stay with you for the long haul, the
long term, as often this is a client relationship that develops over
time and continues. That's what I do and how I work. Clients tell me
that I'm easy to work with, and that they're very satisfied with our
