 Gregg Gehring, DDS, Logo

Text description of logo:  As a dentist, Gregg Gehring wanted to get away from teeth, mouths, toothbrushes, etc., to depict his image. He loved the peaceful, gentle feeling of the dove. From there, representation of his line of work was "smooth sailing..." the circle representing the mirror he uses. The water represents the rinsing, and the dove represents Gregg "...gently soaring" into an open mouth. It all worked, and as he was told, less than one week after his logo was up on his office door and store front window. People at his church complimented him on how nice it was...that it gave them a real feeling of care  and friendliness, which is exactly how Gregg runs his practice and business.

Commentary on logos and logo elements:   Both feeling and tone, an emotional response, are brought out by logos, icons, images, along with colors and color choices, along with identifying words.
